So I was over being nosy reading Sarah's Blog and noticed that she is doing a 60 Day Challenge.

I am very much into R&B, oldies, Jazz and lately I have had this song on REPEAT. I know it's an old song...but its:

 

I actually just started listening to it. Don't liten to Kerri Hilson too much and just decided to download this ong and boy am I glad I did! It has a great beat. I am feeling the words.

I thought "Wow this song is so good I KNOW it has to have a GREAT video to it!" WRONG! It was so old 40's or 50's concept (Sorry if I got the year wrong lol). Some parts were black and white and I was not feeling it. They could have done so much with this video!!! I thought I was going to see TONS of dancing...maybe someone even thought of a pretty girl rock "move".

It's still a GREAT song and I still love it!



Linking Up

So most of followers that have been reading my Blog on a regular basis can sense that I LOVE linking up
with other Bloggers by doing games, getting to know posts etc.

For all the newbies out there, I decided to create a post with all the Link Up's for the whole week (Well, almost the whole week) and link to the Blogger page that created it where you can go to their blog, post a link to YOUR blog (Or the post) where you will find links to other Bloggers! There you can follow other blogs and bloggers can find you and follow YOUR blog!

Great idea, right? RIGHT!

I wish someone had did this for me because when I first came to Blogger (And even a couple yrs after) I could never find Blogs other than FASHION or MOMMY Blogs. And that doesn't interest me. Then I (recently) found people doing link up's where I found blogs that I loved to read and now I am following tons of great people!

Also, I am thinking of some great ideas for the days not listed so I will defiantly let everyone know and even make a page for the Link Up's on my blog.

IPhone Apps I'm Loving

Lately, I have become completely obsessed with the IPhone apps Instagram and Pic Frame for my IPod Touch.

They are both amazing. I spoke about Instagram in a previous post. It's basically a picture app with picture effects that you can save or post to FB, Flickr, Tumblr, Twitter or email them.

I use Pic Frame to frame the pics or or if I want to use multiple pictures in 1. You can also change the color of the background, round the corners and it also has 9 backgrounds that comes with the app that you can use.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Haven't done this since MAY! Wow! I am very excited to get back in to again...

1) I'm loving that after 2yrs of saving/looking for a car on and off , I will be finally getting my CAR next weekend!!!

2) I'm REALLY loving this IPhone (I acutally have an IPod Touch and it still works great!) app I found called Instagram! Its a fun and gorgeous way to send pictures! You can follow people and people follow you. Post comments and even post to Facebook & Twitter! And there are differnt filters where you turn the pictures into differnet colors, borders and other picture effects! It's freaking AMAZING and I am so addicted to this app. There are a few celebrities with the app that you can follow (I have only seen Fabulous and Justin Bieber)

I also have an Android (Samsung Transform) and unfortunatley, they don't have this app but they do have similar apps...Streamzoo, PicsIn and PicSay (Which is great! I did purchase the PRO) so downloade those if you are obssessed with taking pics as I am!

3) I'm loving that I am going to be finally going to start applying for jobs in Chicago soon! Can't wait to start the next chapter in my life.

A month or 2 ago I had some major drama on my Twitter account with someone who I thought was a good friend of mine. It was pretty bad to the point that I decided to delete that account and create a new page (You can read more about it at this posting).

Update on the friendship: After 45 text messages to her and recieving back THREE we no long speak. I took it as a lesson learned and it was meant for that to happen. She wasn't a good friend in the first place and I have moved on.

Music Monday

Wanted to give mad props to Kelly Rowland for dropping her new album "Here I Am" on July 26th.

There have been great reviews, unfortunatly, I haven't purchased yet, but I will b snatching up my sister's from her and putting on my IPod when I can.

I have downloaded hew lastest single "Motivation" and I'm in love with it. Last night I had it on repeat for like an hour!

I have never been a big fan of Kelly, but, I am very excited to see what Kelly has brought forth.

New Blog Layout

I get very tired of looking at the same thing for a long period. I even get tired of of having the same phone case on my phone.

So I thought to change my Blog around. And I am looooooooving it! I found the site Leelou Blogs and boy is her work amazing!

Please go check her out guys! She has free templates that are so easy to upload to your Blog and gives you step by step direction to do so! I am really loving this layout. Kinda reminds me of an old book ... like a diary ... with the buttons and ribbons ... in a vintage way. What do you guys think?? It thrills me that my Blog can look this AMAZING! It makes me want to write even more! The colors are so vibrant and gorgeous!

I even changed my headline to "Dear Diary, Love Kristen" so everyone that comes to my page will know this is a personal Blog. About my life, my thoughts, my drama...me! No fashion here, no make-up (Maybe a little because I LOVE make-up! lol), no postings of crazy looking foods! It's just me at this site...being REAL!
