1) I am a (morning, evening, middle of the day person) middle of the day. Although, if I need to get up and alert early in the morning I can but defiantly not wide awake until mid day.

2) My favorite Pandora stations are Brandy, Anita Baker, Adele and Beyonce (Offff course)!

3) My favorite pattern is I am really into the floral patterns right now. All about gorgeous flowers! Loves it!

4) My favorite perfume is sooo many I can't even pick!

5) Rules are meant to be broken!

6) My most overused phrase is "Awwwww" hahaha

Fill In The Blank Friday

1) My plans this summer are working, getting another car, saving and trying to have as much fun in the sun as I can.

2) The best summer I ever had was when I was a kid and didn't have a care in the world. Didn't have to worry about money...it was nice.

3) Summer is hot days, cool nights (Sometimes), thunderstorms, cute flip flops, dresses with unlimited pool parties and bbq"s

4) My favorite summer food is can't choose between hambugers or link sausages right off the grill!

5) The best way to quench a summer thirst is with plenty of ice lemonade!

6) My summer uniform consists of T-Shirt, dresses, flippy flops and lots of skin showing!

7) The best thing about summer is having carefree moments!

Letting Go


To let go isn’t to forget, not think about, or ignore. It doesn’t leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. Letting go isn’t winning, & it isn’t losing. It’s not about pride, & it’s not about how you appear, & it’s not obsessing or dwelling on the past. Letting go isn’t blocking memories or thinking sad thoughts, & doesn’t leave emptiness, hurt, or sadness. It’s not giving in or giving up. Letting go isn’t about loss, & it’s not defeat. To let go is to cherish memories, & overcome and move on. It’s having an open mind & confidence in the future. Letting go is accepting. It’s learning & experiencing & growing. To let go is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry, & made you grow. It’s about all that you have, all that you had, & all that you will soon again. Letting go is having the courage to accept change, & the strength to keep moving. Letting go is growing up. It’s realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy. To let go is to open a door, & to clear a path, & to set you free.

Happy Independence Day

                                                                                                                         
                                                      
Somehow Happy 4th of July doesn’t seem strong enough to express the sentiment I’m feeling today.
Although the 4th of July is the significant date that we celebrate our country’s freedom, it is just that, a date, memorialized in time.

Happy Independence Day speaks louder than that. Independence … we all can identify with that word, whether you’re a teenager longing to be on your own, or someone who desires to live your life in your own way, or maybe a man/woman whose independence has been taken away because you broke the law.
Independence Day – these are the words that ignite the spirit of America. I can hear the national anthem playing, men and women fighting for our freedom, fireworks lighting up the sky and parents across America doing what they need to do to make life better for themselves and their children.

This is not a day celebrated by the faint of heart. This is a day we celebrate what it means to reach for your dreams, to be born in the land of opportunity or move here, so you can be a beneficiary of the freedom passed along to us by our founding fathers.

Every generation must do their part to sustain that freedom. It’s not a ‘given’. It’s something that we are responsible to nurture each day.

I am proud to be an American. I am blessed by my heritage and the opportunities that have been available to me. I am humbled by my responsibility to pass the torch of freedom to the next generation.
